Less than 24 hours in...

and Angel has already received:

8 dog cookies + 1 Greenie
1 purple Bo-Bo squeaky dog toy (thanks Cousin Maddie!)
1 purple Senior Kong toy
1 Nylabone
7 walks through the park
A billion belly rubs
A more dignified name for a very un-dignified little dog. You may now call her "Madame Lumpy A. Snufflekins, Esq."

An Angel of a different form

She may be "old" by dog standards at 12 years old, but don't tell her that she's supposed to be a senior. She's a spry little Shih-tzu mix, originally adopted when she was 10, but returned two years later because she came to be too much for her owners.

She's partially blind with cataracts in both eyes, but except for the occasional surface bump or trip over the sidewalk, she gets around just fine.

She coughs and wheezes when she's excited. She's perfected the "frog dog" position. She loves squeaky stuffed animals and belly rubs. When she looks up at you, it seems like she's smiling.

She's my first foster dog, and her name is Angel.
